Session 1: The Charge

Now is the time to proclaim the Holy Scripture as it convicts and convinces the sinner unto Christ’s salvation.

Interpreting the Word of God includes studying the Bible as scriptural truth; and as toil working towards truth, and as testimony as a witness of the truth. As the world changes towards a varied concept of truths, it is imperative that each Christian and preacher know the truth of the Bible and share its loving message.

Session 4: Expository Preaching: Why We Do It

In Session Four—entitled Expository Preaching: Why We Do It, Pastor John Miller teaches from the book of 1 Corinthians 4:1-6 as he explains the reason for preaching God’s Holy Word. As Homiletics is vital to the art of preaching it is moreover the importance that all Scripture is the inspired Word of God and central to all instruction. The authority is the Bible and God’s Word and a call to preach the scriptures is a sacred trust from God. Good labor and faithful devotion serving God through preaching His Word faithfully means to find out what the text of the Bible says then preach it though God given individuality and truthfulness.
