November 18, 2024 • Matthew 9:1–8

Give

MINISTRY MOMENT

Do you often find yourself having evil or impure thoughts? First, know that there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus! Second, spend time asking the Lord why these thoughts are coming up.

PRAYER POINT

"Lord Jesus, we trust that nothing that we think goes unnoticed to You. Would You cleanse my mind of any impure thoughts. Would You help me to find the root of my impure thoughts so that they can be removed. Lead me and guide me today in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen!"

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Matthew 9:1-8.

WALK IT OUT

Get with God today! If you have an impure thought, be quick to take it to the Lord and ask Him all about it!

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Remind someone today that God knows how they feel and that He knows their thoughts! Tell them that there is nothing to be afraid of while bringing our thoughts to the Lord!

Ep. 389 - The Main Thing!

MINISTRY MOMENT Have there been ways you have put more thought and intentionality into the titles/things you do instead of who Jesus made you to be? Your God-given identity matters MUCH more than the title you hold here on earth. Your identity has an eternal meaning! PRAYER POINT “God, remind me of my identity in You. Bring me back to a place of encouragement not in the things I do, but in who You created me to be and see me as. Thank You for being my Father and creating me so intentionally, thoughtfully, and specifically. I want to live from a deeply rooted understanding of my identity in You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.” GOING DEEPER Read and study Ephesians 2 and 2 Corinthians 5. WALK IT OUT What things have you placed in importance or held higher in your mind that have been taking over your identity (school, work, parenting, failures, successes, etc.)? Write down a list of who God says you are (go into the Word and find them!). Each day, repeat the list out loud to yourself to remind you of your identity in God! SHARE WITH OTHERS Tell others about where your identity lies and how they are seen the same way through Christ! It’s not about what you do but who God made you to be - His children!

Ep. 388 - Change Your Mind

November 20, 2024 • James 1:17, Philippians 4:8, Romans 12:2, 1 Corinthians 2:16

MINISTRY MOMENT If you find yourself ruminating on thoughts that aren’t from God - stop, pause, and say, "Holy Spirit, cleanse my imagination and give me your thoughts in Jesus' name." Your Word says, "'Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct Him?' But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 2:16) PRAYER POINT "Jesus, give us Your thoughts, shape us and mold us. Make us more like You. In Jesus' name, Amen." GOING DEEPER Read 1 Corinthians 2:16, Romans 12:2, Philippians 4:8, and James 1:17. WALK IT OUT I want to challenge you to literally walk it out. When you find yourself stuck in a rut about thoughts towards yourself or others that aren’t from the Lord - pause, invite the Lord to cleanse your mind and give you His thoughts. If you continue to ruminate on bad thoughts or experiences over and over, the enemy will make it feel like those things have actually happened to you a thousand times. SHARE WITH OTHERS Invite someone you trust to hold you accountable in this area and watch the Lord transform your mind!

Ep. 387 - With His Spirit

MINISTRY MOMENT Are you filled with the Holy Spirit? In John 14, Jesus promises that the Holy Spirit will come and empower His disciples. In fact, Jesus tells His disciples that it is better for Him to leave and return to Heaven and for the Holy Spirit to come, then for Him to stay indefinitely. So I ask again, have you been filled with the Holy Spirit?! PRAYER POINT “Father, please fill us with the fruit of Your Spirit. Help us grow in these areas so that people around us can tell we are Your disciples. Lead us and teach us what it means to be a faithful follower of You, one that is marked by Your fruit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” GOING DEEPER What fruit of the Spirit do you think you're the strongest in? Which is your weakest? WALK IT OUT What practical steps can you take to pray and seek the prosperity of the community and country you live in? SHARE WITH OTHERS Look for the opportunity to share what Jesus revealed to you today.
