Moses was told to build "according to the pattern". Shouldn't the NT Church also have a "pattern" or design it should build according to?

The Church Jesus is building has been given authority. Just as the Father gave Jesus authority, Jesus has given us authority. Authority requires proper perspective in order for it to be used positively.
