Remember Your Baptism

Discipleship Practice:

1) Get Baptized: If you’ve never been baptized, or have questions about Baptism, sign up for our upcoming Baptism Class to learn more about God’s amazing promises for you in the water and the Word. Watch the Baptism Video below or click the button "Questions About Baptism?" to get more information and sign up for the upcoming Baptism Class.

2) Remember Your Baptism: Whenever you encounter water (shower, drinking fountain, river, lake, etc.), dip your finger in that water and make the sign of the cross on your forehead and your heart and pray: “I am a baptized child of God.”

Discipleship Practice: Spiritual Fitness: Go on a daily walk/jog/run/bike ride/get outside without headphones or limited distractions. Spend the time in conversation with Jesus & thank him for the gifts he has given you. Include a prayer of thanks for the gift of your body and physical capabilities. *Keep this practice within the scope of your abilities. The focus is to move your body and thank God for the gift that it is.

Discipleship Practice: Sabbath: Look at your calendar/schedule/to-do list. What appear to be the biggest priorities in your life? Block off intentional times in your daily schedule after meetings or activities to rest in Jesus and talk with him.

This broadens your perspective from yourself onto others to see them, love them, and care for them as Jesus does for you.
