Redeemer Youth is rooted in the mission statement of Redeemer Fellowship Church which states that our church exists to leave a legacy of faith by loving people and engaging our culture to the glory of God. A part of our desire to leave a “legacy of faith” is to reach the next generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ and disciple them through the teaching of God’s word. As a multi-generational church, we do not view our students as the “future church,” but as a unique piece of the mosaic that makes up the church.
Redeemer Youth who are in the 6th grade or older will stay in the worship service with their parents or guardians the entire time. At this age, we think it is important for older children to be able to hear the Word of God preached and be a part of worship with the congregation as a whole.
We recognize that youth-specific programming is beneficial and fun and so we offer a Youth Sunday School for high school students before service at 9:30 am that meets in the Parlor. We also have youth events held periodically throughout the year.
