Redeemer Kids' Volunteer Information

Children's Ministry

KIDS ARE THE NEXT GENERATION. Redeemer offers the following childcare and children’s worship services on Sunday mornings for ages infant through 5th grade: ➤ Nursery During our 10:30 am service, we provide childcare in our nursery for children from infancy through age 2. The children will hear a Bible story, sing songs, play games, and have a snack. You can expect that your child will have a safe and fun time led by our ministry volunteers who have all submitted to background checks and love working with babies and toddlers. If you are visiting and your child will be in the nursery, we encourage you to fill out a child information sheet which allows us to best care for your little one. This will be given to you when you drop off your child. You can bring your child down to the nursery at any time before or during the service. There is also a nursing mother's room located in the back of the sanctuary if you would like to utilize that at any time. ➤ Redeemer Tots Children who are age 3 through kindergarten will need to be checked in at the children's check-in table upstairs. After check-in, they will begin in the worship service with their parents/guardian, allowing for the family to worship together. Before the sermon starts, the children will leave together by following a Redeemer Tots volunteer downstairs to the Tots classroom. During this time, children can expect to learn a Bible story using The Gospel Project curriculum, discuss the story and how all of the Bible points to the gospel of Jesus, have a snack, make a craft, practice their memory verse and catechism question, and play games to reinforce the Bible lesson. All of our Redeemer Tots volunteers have submitted to a background check and love teaching children. Children are also welcome to remain in the worship service with a parent/guardian. Children must be checked out by a parent or guardian in the Tots classroom downstairs after the service concludes. ➤ Redeemer Kids Children who are ages 1st through 5th grade will need to be checked in at the children's check-in table upstairs. Youth Ministry

Redeemer Youth is rooted in the mission statement of Redeemer Fellowship Church which states that our church exists to leave a legacy of faith by loving people and engaging our culture to the glory of God. A part of our desire to leave a “legacy of faith” is to reach the next generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ and disciple them through the teaching of God’s word. As a multi-generational church, we do not view our students as the “future church,” but as a unique piece of the mosaic that makes up the church. Redeemer Youth who are in the 6th grade or older will stay in the worship service with their parents or guardians the entire time. At this age, we think it is important for older children to be able to hear the Word of God preached and be a part of worship with the congregation as a whole. We recognize that youth-specific programming is beneficial and fun and so we offer a Youth Sunday School for high school students before service at 9:30 am that meets in the Parlor. We also have youth events held periodically throughout the year.

Women's Ministry

Redeemer Fellowship's Women's Ministry exists to provide women of all ages with opportunities to study the Word of God, serve the church and community, and fellowship together in order to build one another up toward love and good works. We desire for women to grow in their faith, be equipped with solid Biblical doctrine, and become leaders who point others to Jesus. The women of Redeemer gather for a women's Bible study on the first and third Sundays of the month at 6:30 pm at Redeemer Fellowship Church. We will begin our new study on the book of Numbers on Sunday, February 18, 2024. We will be using Lifeway's study guide, "With Us In The Wilderness" by Lauren Chandler.

Men's Ministry

There is one Bible study option currently available to men looking to join in fellowship and study together. In addition, the men's ministry does camping trips and other events together throughout the year. The men of Redeemer and The Bridge Church come together for a joint Bible study on the first Saturday of each month and rotates between being hosted at Redeemer and The Bridge. See Denton Ice for details.
