All of humanity share in Adam's one act of disobedience when he willfully ate the forbidden fruit in defiance of God's explicit command. Sin entered the world through that one act and infects every human being. God's remedy was devised before the foundation of the world when the only begotten of the Father was sent by the Father to be the Savior of the world through one act of obedience. It is by faith in the one act of Christ's obedience that we are declared no longer culpable for Adam's sin and we are made righteous.
