Caterpillars don't have wings, but butterflies do! Just like a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, when you become a child of God, you become a new creation.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." -2 Corinthians 5:17
Live from your position in Christ, as His child, to change your practice in life. Live as the new creation that you are!

What do we do after we accept Christ? What's next?
It is important to learn more about salvation and what it means to be a child of God. When we believe or trust in God, we are adopted into God’s family as His children. We have been created by God and for God, and we have value; even though that value has been marred by sin. Our relationship with God as His children will never change, but our closeness changes when we sin. The Bible says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us of all unrighteousness.”

God’s people have always been required to believe in Him. However, some people look at the Gospel and think, “it’s too easy.” But it is God’s way. It’s not about us and what we do. God is the Creator and He creates the rules. Jesus is the only way, and salvation is found through Christ alone!

God truly is trustworthy! Believe in God and His promises. He sent His Son to die on the cross and the Bible says that His death was payment for our sins. You can trust God to fulfill his promises.

What does it mean to be saved? What is salvation?
Salvation is being rescued or saved from our sins. You are saved by trusting in what Christ did for you, not by how good-of-a-person you are or how many good things you do. Christ died for our sins and the Bible says that if you believe that and trust in Christ your sins will be forgiven.

The Best News Ever? | Something To Think About Part 2

God created mankind, but all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God created us to be with Him, but sin broke that relationship. So, God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to pay for our sins. We cannot pay for our own sins, Christ is the only way. Trust in Christ and what He did for you! You can do so by, 1) Admitting you have sinned, and 2) Telling God you trust in Christ and His sacrifice on the cross for your sins.

We have all been created in the image of God, and that is where our value and purpose comes from.
