There is no greater joy than that which is found in the fellowship of the church because this fellowship is truly with God Himself and His Son, Jesus Christ. The Joy of this fellowship is made perfect and complete when it is shared and received by others through our personal witness.
There is joy in the house of the Lord and in the hearts of His people, and this joy is eternal!
The Verdict
September 3, 2023 • Pastor Anthony J Shetley • 1 Peter 4:12–19
It is appointed unto man once to die and following death, we face the judgment. Judgment leads to a verdict. Preceding the judgment is the gathering of evidence; a proving of what is true or false; real or fabricated. My friend, faith must be proven, meaning that it will be tested. So don't be shocked when fiery trials come your way. It is then when you must entrust your soul to God, the faithful http://creator.so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ…obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls." (1 Peter 1:7,9)
Rediscover the Bible
May 14, 2023 • Pastor Anthony J Shetley • 2 Chronicles 34:3, 2 Chronicles 34:19, 2 Kings 22:13–20, 2 Kings 23:25, Psalm 139:23–24
Has our culture influenced us away from following after Christ? It’s time for us to rediscover the word of God; to search it out with a renewed hunger and thirst. In the absence of light, there is only darkness. God's word is the only true light. If we are not walking in His light, then the question is, "How great is our darkness?"
The Need for Revival
March 12, 2023 • Pastor Anthony J Shetley • Ephesians 2:8–10, 1 Corinthians 12:13–18, James 2:17–24, Revelation 22:12
What is going on in our churches today? Are we Christ’s humble servants? Are we following the guidance of the Holy Spirit or our own agenda? Doing our own thing and attaching our Lord’s name to it does not in itself produce that which is acceptable unto God. A church not working is a church not living. God has saved each of us for His purpose, and His will. We are never more alive in Christ than when we are serving the body of Christ.
The Need for Revival
March 5, 2023 • Pastor Anthony J Shetley • Matthew 6:21, Acts 4:32, 2 Corinthians 8:1–4, 2 Corinthians 9:6–8, Malachi 3:10
Giving is second nature to the Spirit-filled life of the child of God. “God loves a cheerful giver.” When we close our hearts from giving to the Lord, God closes the window of His spiritual blessings toward us.”
Malachi 3:10 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.
The Need for Revival
February 26, 2023 • Pastor Anthony J Shetley • 1 John 4:9–11, 1 John 4:19
There is a strong danger of letting our love for God wane and grow cold by letting our actions for the Lord become a mere formality like the church at Ephesus. They were pressing on in doing all the right things, but they departed from the love that they had in the beginning. May we fear the Lord and love Him; denying our self, letting go of the world and laying hold of eternal life! Let us abide in His grace and live according to His truth!

The Need for Revival
February 12, 2023 • Pastor Anthony J Shetley • Revelation 3:1–5
Without a revival, the church at Sardis would find themselves left behind when the Lord came to receive His glorious church.
In the Sardis church and in churches today, the Holy Spirit is being subjugated by the flesh. The righteous garments of many of its members have become soiled, defiled, or stained by way of “tracking in” from the outside world around them. The contaminants of the world are infiltrating the church.
Revival comes when the word of God is preached, heard, and received! We must get back to the pure, unadulterated, word of God! We must live by the bible!
The Savior
February 5, 2023 • Pastor Anthony J Shetley • Romans 5:12, John 3:16–19, Psalm 51:5, Romans 7:18–25, 1 John 1:7
The brokenness of our world and our life comes from our broken relationship with God. Despite man’ greatest efforts, he cannot set himself free from the innate power of sin nor expunge the record of his sinful past.
Through Jesus Christ, you can be forgiven. His death alone can redeem you; God has accepted His blood as payment for your sin. Through Jesus Christ you can become free from sin’s power over you and escape the sentence of death upon your eternal life.
Born Again
January 29, 2023 • Pastor Anthony J Shetley • John 3:3–5, John 3:16, Acts 2:38, John 3:8
The gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ has been reduced to merely believing basic tenets of the Christian faith. No one ask, “Have you been born again” or “Did you receive the Holy Spirit?” However, these were the questions asked of believers in the early church. Today, the question is simply phrased, “Are you a believer?” According to Jesus, one must both believe in Him and be born again.
Situational Christianity
January 15, 2023 • Pastor Anthony J Shetley • Romans 6:1–2
God's commandments are not burdensome. Obeying His commandments will keep us from messing up our life. "This is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith!" (1Jn. 5:3-4)
Fateful Continuance
January 8, 2023 • Pastor Anthony J Shetley • Luke 13:1–9, Romans 6:13, Romans 6:16, Romans 6:23
Among the pious Jews living during the time of Jesus’ ministry, suffering and tragedy were always seen as the result of one’s sinfulness. However, Jesus made it clear to them that this was not always the case. Tragedy can strike anytime, anywhere, to anybody, and without any warning. In light of this truth, it is imperative for us to be ready. There is no greater tragedy than to "perish" eternally. Therefore, Jesus taught that one must repent! To repent is to change. This change begins in the mind, then makes its way into the heart, and then it is finally realized in the conduct and actions of one’s life.
A Vessel for Divine Treasure
December 11, 2022 • Pastor Anthony J Shetley • 2 Corinthians 4:7–9, 2 Corinthians 1:8–10, Romans 8:35
God has placed His divine treasure in "earthen vessels," that is, in our frail, earthly bodies. Clay vessels are weak and subject to breaking. However, through our weaknesses, God’s power can be realized. The bible tells us that we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves.
