Our decisions to pursue personal comfort and the easy path always end up costing us. Noami had lost everything, but God had not forgotten His people. She came back home with her daughter-in-law Ruth and God set in motion the events that would have Ruth be in the lineage of Christ!

King Nebuchadnezzar’s horrible dream could not be interpreted by all the wise men of the land, but a teenaged boy name Daniel proved to have more wisdom and insight than them all. He depended on the wisdom from above, the wisdom only given by Almighty God! The advice from James 1:5 is still good for today: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally . . . and it shall be given him."
