We are very susceptible to fear and discouragement; they are two of the things that can immobilize us and keep us from God’s best in our lives. We also know that because God said to not be afraid or discouraged, it’s possible to lead fearless and courageous lives. The purpose of courageous faith is to help us be faithful and fearless in making God-honoring life choices, even when they are based on things that our physical senses cannot fully understand.
