This week, Ken and Grant spoke with their special guest, Ken Williams. Ken is a great thinker and proactive leader of the Changed Movement. Today, he consults with individuals, churches, and organizations about issues of sexual purity and navigating LGBTQ issues, and he is a public advocate for men and women to have rights, freedoms, and counseling to leave an LGBTQ life behind if they so choose. He has been a pastor since 2006 and is co-founder of CHANGED Movement. Ken is co-founder of Equipped to Love (https://www.equippedtolove.com/), a ministry that serves those impacted by LGBTQ and serves Moral Revolution (https://www.moralrevolution.com/) as an author, lecturer, and minister. Ken holds a B.S. in Marketing/Finance. His greatest joys are his beautiful wife and four incredible children.

S5E27 Show Notes – Jeffrey Tyner This week, Ken and Grant spoke with Jeffrey Tyner. Jeff and his wife, Jenni, have been married for over twenty years and have four children. Jeff has nearly twenty years of experience in the oil and gas business. He is the President of Tyner Energy, an exploration company active in the Permian Basin of West Texas. His adventures include real estate and, most recently, media. He is the Executive Producer of Send Proof, a feature-length documentary exploring medical evidence for miraculous healing. He also works with DEI DOX to produce Miraculous: Stories of Divine Intervention. Jeff has pursued revival since his days as a student at Texas A&M, where he led grass-roots prayer gatherings on campus and has pursued the goal of Word and Spirit since that time. S5E24 - Embracing Being a SON or DAUGHTER of God with Elizabeth Woning

This week, Ken and Grant are joined by Elizabeth Woning. Elizabeth is the founder of CHANGED, a network of men and women who have walked away from LGBTQ identity. In addition to member support, the CHANGED Movement works with legislators and think tanks to protect the First Amendment rights of all those seeking freedom from LGBTQ culture and its social labels. Elizabeth "came out" in her early 20s and attended a Presbyterian Church (USA) seminary living openly as a lesbian after questioning her sexuality for several years. As a student in seminary between 2000 and 2003, she lobbied for marriage and ordination of LGTBQ individuals and ministered among gay youth, espousing a theology that embraced homosexuality. Upon graduating, she served as a youth pastor in a small rural community, where an encounter with Jesus radically shifted her perspective. The love of God drew her into a revelation that led to repentance and healing. She married her husband Doug in 2005. Elizabeth holds a Master's in Theology and is completing her Doctor of Ministry degree in New Testament Theology at Houston Theological Seminary at Houston Christian University in Texas. She is a licensed pastor and teaches emerging leaders at Bethel Church's School of Ministry in Redding, California. We’re standing against the tide.” – Ken Fish “The furor over the need for these [conversion therapy] bans is interesting. What it is effectively doing… is it’s limiting free speech in a confidential setting…. The state can control what we talk about…. That means state-sanctioned or government-mandated sexual identity…. Worldwide, what it means is that those kinds of bans are being introduced at very great cost to religious freedom.” – Elizabeth Woning “In Canada and Australia right now, a private living room conversation can give you jail time, if you, through even a moment of prayer, encourage a person to desist from LGBT identities and that individual takes that wrongly. It is very invasive, and it is probably the biggest anti-Christian movement that we’re seeing worldwide right now.” – Elizabeth Woning ‘In [California]… if your child identifies as anything other than straight and cis-gendered, if you even question it… the authorities can take the child out of your home…. To me that is a terrifying prospect and it is analogous to what we used to see in communist nations....’ – Ken Fish “It’s not about LGBT. It’s about the change of government structure, the way big government controls society and what ideas and what speech that we may have in the public arena…that is being fought for and LGBT is being used by cultural elites… to make a huge political change in the United States.” – Elizabeth Woning “Following Jesus is the route to the need that you have for fulfillment. The love of Jesus is the thing that you most desire.” – Elizabeth Woning “So often the very first cutoff point for someone who identifies as LGBTQ is ‘God will not receive me” or ‘I could not become a Christian.’ And so I want to just say that God WILL receive you and is always welcoming." – Elizabeth Woning “The Lord holds the keys to our identity.” – Elizabeth Woning
