Stop Comparing
April 7, 2024 • Dan Bentz • John 21:18–22
There was something Peter needed to learn before he could become the man God intended for him to be; Jesus taught Him and every generation of Christians who would follow the how foolish it is to live trying to compare our lives to someone else.
It is Finished
March 24, 2024 • Dan Bentz • John 19:28–30
Today marks our remembrance the beginning of what is without a doubt the most important week in the history of the world. A Matter of Death and Life
February 11, 2024 • Dan Bentz • John 11
God’s concern is more long-term and that can be frustrating because many times we tend to focus on the short term. We say I don’t want to hurt, so God please fix it, and when He says if a little pain causes you to turn to Me and trust Me more, isn’t that a good thing, we struggle. Those are hard lessons to learn, but once we get them everything changes.
Following Jesus
February 4, 2024 • Dan Bentz • John 1
There are two kinds of people and Jesus makes the division clear, those who have come to Him in faith, trusting Him to be their Savior and those who haven’t. Enteral blessing awaits those who come, and eternal punishment awaits those who won’t. It’s a simple but clear reality.
