Jesus' claim about what He is offering those who come to Him. In earlier passages He offered Himself as living water (John 4) and as the bread of life (John 6), and now in John 8:12 He proclaims He is the Light of the world!

It is Finished

Today marks our remembrance the beginning of what is without a doubt the most important week in the history of the world. It began with Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem to shouts of praise and ended with Him lying dead in a tomb, after a brutal and gruesome crucifixion. But before He laid down His life, Jesus utter three words we find great hope in: It is finished!
