A very emotional interview. James is a U. S. Army veteran who, in less than 2 years, lost his foster mom, his biological mom, his dad, and his two children to death. He went to prison, and while there, through the influence of a couple fellow inmates, returned to Jesus (after having blamed Jesus for all those losses). His life changing Scripture is John 15:13, “Greater love hath no man than this: that he lay down his life for his friend.”

Ashley, Derrick, and Ashley's mom all became homeless. Then her mom died in October 2023. They had been living in the Heritage House when all the pipes broke on all 19 floors of the building, and everyone got put out of the building.
