Garret is gifted with a tent for himself and his dog, Sassy. His life was destroyed by meth addiction. He used to have a house and a couple of cars, but his meth addiction did away with that. He has been sober for 18 days, now. He says the tent will be awesome.

Ashley, Derrick, and Ashley's mom all became homeless. Then her mom died in October 2023. They had been living in the Heritage House when all the pipes broke on all 19 floors of the building, and everyone got put out of the building. Shirley had to sell everything she had to get her son buried after he died of a massive heartattack. After that she could not pay her rent, and she became homeless.
