Not long after his next movie, Black Dog (starring Patrick Swayze) moved into the Top 5 movies, giving him two movies at the top of the charts in the same week! He had it all. Houses, Cars, Fame, Recognition...and he had the ego to match it all. That's when his family began to fall apart...and the Holy Spirit stepped in. Mark will share his amazing testimony of coming to Christ, and then following the lead of the Holy Spirit to dedicate The First Hour of every day to Jesus through reading the Bible, praying, and going deeper in his relationship with the Lord. Mitch Davis is my guest on this week's podcast. I first met Mitch in my pastors group known as Fishbowl Ministries. He is a preacher at Franklin Church of Christ and has served in that role for 14 years. He has almost 30 years experience in ministry. We discuss his conversion to Christ and his childhood growing up in Maui, Hawaii. Which naturally leads into a discussion of the devastating wildfires that swept through Maui in August 2023. Mitch will give some accounts of what took place and ways that people can still help now that the event is no longer in the news.

Neal Morse is a singer, musician, and composer based in Nashville. He is a founding member of Spock's Beard, Transatlantic, Yellow Matter Custard, Flying Colors, and The Neal Morse Band. In 2002 Neal became a Christian through an amazing story that he will share on this episode! Encouraged by a friend to begin writing progressive rock concept albums based on Scripture (think, Jesus Christ Superstar) Neal began releasing albums like Testimony 1&2, Sola Scriptura, Jesus Christ the Exorcist, and The Dreamer: Joseph - Pt. 1. A fantastic concept album that perfectly tells the story of one of the Old Testaments greatest characters! On January 12 he will release The Restoration: Joseph - Pt. Two!
