Two are Better Than One

September 18, 2023 • Mike Sorcinelli • Ecclesiastes 4:7–12

In our stand-alone message today we are talking about the importance of not living life alone. God created us for the community, especially during life's difficult moments like receiving bad news from a doctor, facing infidelity, experiencing a miscarriage, going through divorce, or losing a job. The New Testament instructs Christians to love, care for, support, and pray for one another in various ways. Having this support system helps people find strength during challenging times, while those without it struggle more. The message is clear: enduring tough situations alone is even harder than the situations themselves. God's intention is that believers have a community to walk alongside them in life, and even though the pandemic may have caused isolation, it's crucial to re-engage and find that supportive community once again.
