how do I pray?

Prayer is something most everyone participates in, yet no one is an expert. Prayer is a powerful exercise and rhythm that Jesus modelled, and taught about throughout his life and ministry.

Jesus starts the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6 by instructing us how NOT to pray. God is not a formula or algorithm we need to solve. Neither is God is someone we need to manipulate.

The next part of the prayer is essential for us to gain joy and motivation to keep praying...even when it is awkward. Understanding the nature of God will radically reframe why and how we pray.
