Like any relationship, we have to guard against complacency. Relationships don’t shrivel overnight; it is a slow withdrawal that destroys relationships over months and years.
In our relationship with God, we also must guard our hearts. Complacency and cynicism can destroy the vibrancy of our faith. Distractions are another avenue.
