In the book of Matthew, Jesus gives us the meaning of life, and it’s no secret. An eight-week worship series called, “Happy,” continues on Sunday, August 11, as we turn to Jesus’ famous “Blessed are the . . .” statements at the beginning of the Sermon on the Mount. The third message in the series, “Gentleness,” is rooted in Matthew 5:1-2, 5 and explores the perspective of the meek.
