Stand in Righteousness

May 14, 2023 • David Chadwick • Ephesians 6:10–14

As we continue to learn how to fight our battles against the spiritual forces of the darkness, we move from last week's message on the belt of truth to this week focusing on the breastplate of righteousness. The breastplate is like a bullet proof vest officers wear today. It protects our most vital organs - especially the heart and lungs. Therefore, we need to fully understand this word "righteousness" and what it means for our lives.

Stand: The Weapon of Prayer

June 25, 2023 • David Chadwick • Ephesians 6:10–20

This Sunday we will complete our study of the full armor of God. It ends with the weapon of prayer (Ephesians 6:18-20). Prayer empowers all the other pieces of the armor. But in these last few verses, we will look at aspects of prayer that need to be exercised if we want complete victory over the enemy.

Stand: The Sword of the Spirit

June 18, 2023 • David Chadwick • Ephesians 6:10–17

This week, while looking at the armor of God, we will talk about taking up the sword of the Spirit which is God's Word. We will examine the importance of knowing what the powers and principalities of the evil one are trying to do to us individually, our families and our nation. We will look at the importance of God's Word in fighting the schemes of the enemy. It is the only offensive weapon in God's full armor that we are to take up.

Stand: The Helmet of Salvation

June 11, 2023 • David Chadwick • Ephesians 6:10–17

This week, we take up the helmet of salvation. The battlefield against the enemy is our mind. Our thought life. How we think. We will look thoroughly in the Scriptures about this idea. If you control your thoughts, you will control how you feel. If you control how you feel, you will control your behavior.
