Jesus Loves His Church (Part 4)

February 4, 2024 • David Chadwick • Revelation 3:14–22

This week we will finalize the seven churches in Revelation by looking at Laodicea. It's the only church out of the seven where Jesus had nothing good to say! As we examine this church, let’s search our own hearts to see if we are exhibiting any of the same "lukewarm" behaviors that Jesus spoke against in the letter to Laodicea.

More from Revelation

A Pause to Worship

May 19, 2024 • David Chadwick • Revelation 11:15–19

This week we will cover Revelation 11:15-19. The Seventh Trumpet Judgment (and the third "woe" that God talks about before his final wrath is poured out) blasts forth. It is stated that the kingdom of the world (the kingdom of Satan and darkness) is now ready to become the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Suddenly, all of heaven breaks loose in praise, giving thanks to Jesus for all he has done. The elders break forth in total worship. This is what will happen in heaven right before Jesus's Second Coming.

The Two Witnesses

May 12, 2024 • David Chadwick • Revelation 11:1–14

This week, we will continue our march through Revelation and look at chapter 11. More specifically, we will examine the two amazing witnesses that God sent into Jerusalem during the last half of the Great Tribulation. Amidst great opposition, they give continual testimony about Jesus and the need for all to accept him as Lord and Savior. The story has a wonderful and powerful ending. It's one that should encourage all of us to be faithful witnesses as well.

Is God Really in Control?

May 5, 2024 • David Chadwick • Revelation 10

This week, we will study Revelation 10 - and the meaning of the small scroll. It's an interlude between the 6th and 7th Trumpet Judgments. The title of the message is, "Is God Really in Control?" This is an especially relevant question when there's pain and suffering in your life. A mighty angel descends from heaven to give us the answer.
