In this message, we discuss various aspects of government from a biblical perspective, emphasizing the importance of obedience to authority and the role of government in restraining evil. The historical context of the founding fathers and their belief in God's ordination of government is explored. We are reminded of the biblical principle that those who do right should not fear ruling authorities and of the importance of submission to God's institutions. Finally, we are encouraged to engage with government from a Christian perspective, keeping in mind the importance of prayer, accountability, and self-determination.
