Disciples are humble servants fully devoted to following Jesus: we are saved by Him so that by His power we serve like Him! As we see in Romans 12:1-2, surrendered disciples are humble, helpful, and holy. The illustration Paul gives us in these verses to be a "living sacrifice" is a powerful reminder of our relationship to Christ and what a life of worship really looks like.
