Saved to Serve

Disciples are humble servants fully devoted to following Jesus: we are saved by Him so that by His power we serve like Him! As we see in Romans 12:1-2, surrendered disciples are humble, helpful, and holy. The illustration Paul gives us in these verses to be a "living sacrifice" is a powerful reminder of our relationship to Christ and what a life of worship really looks like.

Christ's Example

Romans 15:7 tells us to "welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God." Christ is our example for how we should live and relate to one another. Focus on Love

Jesus expects His disciples to behave respectfully, responsibly, lovingly, and with right living. Right living comes from a right relationship with Jesus Christ.
