Does God Really Exist? - Part 4

June 4, 2017 • Steve Forrester • John 20:30–31

Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
—John 20:30-31

As we continue our series Big Questions, we’ve examined the question, “Does God Really Exist?” We’ve seen that since the universe had a beginning, it had to have a cause. That cause must be timeless, spaceless, immaterial, and powerful. Since the universe is finely tuned for human life and of complex design, it must have a designer. We have seen that objective moral law exists, therefore so must a lawgiver. Today we look at the evidence for God provided by the testimony of witness provided by God’s Word, particularly the miraculous. Next week we will hear a powerful example of personal testimony about one person’s search for God.
