As we get ready to turn the chapter into a new year, many will start the trend of a New Year's Resolution and though these well-intended goals may last for a little while, statistics show that most New Year's Resolutions dwindle away in about six weeks.

This week, as we finished our Christmas series "The God Who Was, And Is, And Is to Come, Elder Rod Perry brought us the Word and a encouragement to not just adopt a resolution, but rather, live a lifestyle that is summarized by these three ideas: BE STILL, BE HUMBLE, and BE KIND! If we first begin with an attitude of stillness, allowing the Lord to speak to us through His Word, and then begin the practical steps of being humble before Him and others, showing kindness to everyone we meet, we will be able to walk in the mystery of what is to come, resting in our Father's plan for each of us, knowing that His ways are better and always perfect for us.
