When we come together and worship on a Sunday morning far more is happening than meets the eye. Sharing the Gospel is an essential part of any church, and it takes people who grasp that the Gospel is more than words. Caring for a broken world, meeting needs, and making life better for people follows in the footsteps of Jesus. Most people don’t want to know how much you care, they want to see how much you care because talk is cheap. Gather in with us Sunday as explore how you are essential in worship and locally/globally serving the needs of others.

Fellowship – Acts 2: 44-47 Growth – 2 Peter 3: 18 Relationships at Lakeside are at the core of who we are as a church. A healthy and growing relationship with God and one another makes for a balanced life. God has given gifts and abilities to the members of the local church in order to grow from within. You (the Lakesider) become essential in making Lakeside members flourish in their relationships with God and each other. Essential: Hospitality

Romans 12: 9-13 Andre Nouwen wrote “Hospitality means primarily the creation of free space where the stranger can enter and become a friend instead of an enemy. Hospitality is not to change people, but to offer them space where change can take place.” At Lakeside creating moments (space) for people to meet, become friends, find peace, and experience belonging is essential. People make it possible to create these moments (and spaces). When writing about the practical outworking of the Christian faith the Apostle Paul addressed sincerity. Intentional love that lifts others above self, and active hospitality. Join us as we explore Scripture together and pursue living authentic Christian lives.
