You’re invited to observe Good Friday at Lakeside. The sufferings of Christ remind us that God took on full humanity, adding it to His pre-existent Deity, in order that He might redeem us for all eternity. How far are you willing to go for those whom you love? What sacrifices are you prepared to make for those whom you love? God gave it all in His Son Jesus. May we never forget that the journey to new life takes us through the tomb. We have so much to be thankful for!

Easter Sunday - New Life in Christ

Easter – is the work of Jesus on the cross like the purchasing of a ticket to heaven on behalf of others? Is the resurrection all about getting to heaven, that distant shore? This truncated understanding of the Gospel fails to address the here and now, the pain and suffering of this hour, and the real purpose of the church. New life in Jesus means life eternal but equally so – new life now. Every breath, decision, and day is a fresh and new opportunity to bring heaven to earth. What does all that mean? Join us for the wonderful celebration we Christians call Easter! Easter at Lakeside – New Life in Christ!
