Thanks for joining us online today as we continue our series on Psalm 23. Last week I repeated the first 5 words of this Psalm, “the Lord is my shepherd” over a dozen times to help us remember that powerful phrase! We also learned that we can be content and aren’t designed to carry the weight of worry… Unfortunately, worry is something we have learned to do well. Sheep don’t worry – they just follow the shepherd & we need to do the same.

For the last eight weeks we have been taking a journey together as we have explored Psalm 23; the magnificent psalm written by David but inspired by God. On the surface it looks like a story of a shepherd recounting the events of the full year of a sheep’s life. He takes his sheep from the home base out into the green pastures, along the still waters, up through the mountain valleys to the high plains of the summer and safely back to the home base. Like.
