The Kingdom You Cannot See

December 8, 2024 • Matthew Allen • Luke 17:20–21

The concept of the kingdom is one of the most critical subjects in biblical teaching, yet it can be challenging to grasp. Unlike human governments, God's kingdom is an absolute monarchy, where power is distributed through checks and balances. No one person has absolute authority in our country, yet God’s kingdom operates with Him as supreme. God does exactly what He wills, when He wills, with whom He wills, and for the purposes He chooses. As His subjects, we live under His authority. On Sunday, we will explore the two realms of God’s kingdom: the realm of creation and the realm of the heart.
