20th Anniversary Sunday Service

Hey everyone, I trust that you all have heard our save the date announcement for our special 20th anniversary celebration on the weekend of June 13-14. Well, we are happy to announce today that we are ready to share some details about the festivities for the weekend! First we will be hosting a special Gala Dinner on Saturday night, June 13 at a wedding hall called Crest 72, located across the street from the National Theater on Namsan - which isn't too far from us! This is a pay-per-person, formal attire, dinner banquet, with all the bells and whistles! We will begin the registration for the dinner gala starting next Sunday so let’s get ready to reserve your spots for the night of celebration! Second, we will be having a joint service of both our services on the following day, Sunday June 14th at Yonsei University’s main auditorium. The service will be at 2pm to give us the morning time to properly prepare for the service. And we will be designing the service to make it family friendly for all ages.

Art Prayer Journal Workshop

■ We’re excited to invite you to our Art Prayer Journaling Workshop here at Jubilee.  ■ This workshop will take place on Sundays at 2 PM for 3 Sundays (March 29, April 19, May 31).  ■ It’s a space where you can draw, reflect, and connect with God in a creative way. Through art journaling, you’ll explore creative ways to pray through Scripture, reflect on God’s faithfulness in your life, and record your prayers visually. ■ It’s also a great opportunity to build community while experiencing the stress-relieving and therapeutic benefits of art.  ■ There is a one-time materials fee of 30,000 won, which includes a sketchbook journal and a paint palette that you’ll get to keep. ■ If you’re interested, please sign up on our Jubilee app by this upcoming Thursday to reserve your spot. 

Parent's Prayer Meeting

May 31, 2026

This will be a unique time of prayer and connection for caregivers raising kids with special needs, medical issues, or challenging behaviors. During Fellowship Sunday on May 31st, we'll get our food, then gather at noon in the JubiWee room on the 3rd floor. After eating & fellowship, childcare will be provided by volunteers in the playroom while parents pray together.

20th Anniversary Gala

June 13, 2026

Registration for this dinner is now open! Please register and purchase your ticket ASAP so we can plan seating and food accordingly! You can access this form through our website or app. As mentioned last week, this is a pay-per-person dinner and there is no child price. Although this will be an event mainly for adults, if you need to bring your young child, please contact the planning team.  Please note that the dinner is 120,000 KRW per person. Although this seemed high at first, this price is what we found to be the average to lower rate, for a venue that could accommodate our size, in central Seoul. We are grateful to have found a venue at a central location, serving a sit-down course dinner,  AND that was available to rent during peak wedding season here in Seoul.  As usual, if you would like to go but need financial assistance, please contact us at mailto:20th@jubileeseoul.com.  A link for ticket registration as well as the details for both the gala and our joint service, including maps, can be accessed via our website and our app. 

VBS | Save the Date

■ We’re excited to share that we have Vacation Bible School from July 30th-August 1st. Please save the date and be on a lookout for more announcements concerning registration, volunteers and decorations. 

Bible Reading Plan

■ We hope you enjoyed the Lent Reading plan, and with the positive feedback, plus staying true to our yearly theme, we want to keep on being rooted in Christ through reading the Bible.  ■ We have a new Bible reading plan on our app, which will go all the way until Pentecost in May

Receive Counseling

■ As we transition into spring, where new life springs forth, it's an invitation to us to tend the things beneath the surface. We want to encourage people who are sitting on the fence or questioning whether they should or can seek out counseling. We want to also clarify that counseling is not the same as psychiatry and isn't only for crises situations. It's a place to work through a number of issues, including stress, challenges, or uncertainty with support. You don't have to be in a crisis to come, and you're not taking a spot from someone else by seeking help. It's important to process pain or difficulties early before it causes larger problems later. We believe counseling is an important part of self care.

Wednesday & Sunday Prayer Meeting

Wednesday Prayer ■ The prayer team will be at church every Wednesday to pray for those who wish to receive prayer right after our Wednesday Night Service/Bible Studies. Sunday Prayer ■ The prayer team will meet with those who wish to receive prayer right after the 10 AM service. ■ This will be every week except the last Sunday of the month.

CM Class Change

MINIS (PRE SCHOOL) AGE 3-4 For children born between September 2020 - August 2022 JRS (K-1ST) AGE 5-7 For children born between September 2017 August 2020 SRS (2ND-3RD) For children already in or turning into a 2nd grader by August 2025 SUPER SRS (4TH - 5TH) For children already in or turning into a 4th grader by August 2025 Children's ministry is restructuring their classrooms to better serve the increasing number of children with more age-appropriate system. That being said, please check this new age grouping by the CM announcement board, and be aware of which class your child will be starting August 17th. Also, with the new set of classes, we will need more parents' participation as volunteers. So, please join in the new parents' open chat and help the new classes through your volunteering.

AM Parking

■ AM drivers please pull out your car before 1:30pm or after 2:30pm ■ There are many cars trying to pull out between 1:50pm~ 2:15pm and that is the prime time when PM cars come in, so we have been having trouble.  ■ Thank you for your understanding and cooperation
