Dallas native Richard Stanford is a former attorney, retirement home administrator at CC Young Senior Living, and staff member at Highland Park United Methodist Church. He knew and represented some of the principal characters of the story later in their lives. An SMU Business and Law graduate, he and his family live in Uptown.
