Where to Stay

January 3, 2021 • Chris High

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

What would your friends say you are a brand ambassador of?

Are you someone who sets New Year’s Resolutions? If so what goals are you hoping to achieve this year?

What keeps us from seeing ourselves as ambassadors in our workplaces and homes? What are some practical measures we might take to more readily acknowledge our identity as Christ’s ambassadors?

In what ways do you see yourself as an ambassador for Christ? What ways might you improve?

There were 4 points in Sunday’s message. Which one spoke to personally the most? What spoke to you about that point?
1. Our mission is incarnational.
2. Your family needs to see you on mission more than they need a garage.
3. Walls take time to fall.
4.Young people need old people.

PRAYER FOCUS
Thank God for honoring us with the task of living as His ambassadors in our homes, our workplaces, and our neighborhoods. Pray that God would help us be prepared to talk to the people around us about the hope we have in Christ. Pray that we as a group would encourage one another as we seek to faithfully live out of our identity as Christ’s ambassadors.

What Sustains

As we head into fall, what are you focused on? We often think we know what sustains us, but what if there was something even bigger than ourselves that could truly sustain every one of us? Today Pastor Chris challenges us to discover what that is, and to stop engaging life by thinking what we can take in and begin saying what can we give? So, what sustains you?
