What is your go-to comfort food?

Do you talk to God regularly about your pain or discomfort? Why or why not?

Read 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 together.
What does Paul have to say about how our discomfort can unify us?
How does Paul’s perspective help us re-evaluate the discomfort we may be experiencing now?

Can you share a time in which certain pain and suffering you experienced in your life was used to comfort others?

How can you turn to God in the midst of your discomfort? What does it look like to then comfort those around you? How can you provide the gift of presence?
