Exodus 12

Exodus Chapter 12 is the Bible’s first mention of the ritual of Passover. In Israel, Passover became a yearly festival to celebrate the events described in this chapter. Later chapters of Exodus explain in greater detail how Passover should be performed.

Moses was afraid to look at the Lord and he hid his face in his hands.
