The Hall Of Faith
Habakkuk - Faithful When Life Is Confusing
August 12, 2018 • Pastor Scott Kircher
Sometimes when we look around the world and see all of the seeming injustice and evil, it can cause people to question if there is a God and if there is, then to question what He is doing. Why is God allowing evil to flourish without acting? Why are people or nations that do more evil, sometimes seem to dominate or defeat those who act more righteous then them? How do we live a life of faith, when what we see is confusing to us?
Samson - A Faith That Displays God's Sovereignty And Grace
July 29, 2018 • Pastor Scott Kircher
Samson lived a life that was largely focused on himself. How is he an example for us that is included in the Hall of Faith? We learn several things from Samson’s life that display God’s Sovereignty and Grace and that can provide hope for us all no matter what our past.
Gideon - A Faith that Makes a Hero Out of a Zero
July 22, 2018 • Pastor Scott Kircher
After entering the Promised Land and the death of Joshua and his generation, Israel turned from the Lord to worship false gods which brought about oppression from their enemies. In the book of Judges we see a continued cycle of blessing, spiritual complacency, sin, suffering at the hands of their enemies, a cry to God for help, and then God’s deliverance through someone God would raise up (a judge). Gideon is one of those that God raised up to lead Israel even though he was from the weakest clan and was the least in his family (Judges 6:15). How can we be like a Gideon and have faith that takes us from feeling like a zero to a Hero for the Lord?
Rahab - A Faith That Provides A Future
July 15, 2018 • Pastor Scott Kircher
When you look back on your life, how does your past look? Are you discouraged by how you have lived? Are you satisfied? Have you been relying on yourself and your own guidance for life? Does your future look like more of the same and how long is the future you see? Well our past doesn't have to determine our future when we turn in faith to the one true God who is able to provide a future that can be far different and better than our past and last for all eternity! Let's take a look at Rahab and see how her faith in the Lord changed her future and provided a future that had eternal impact.

Joseph - A Faith That Looks Forward
June 17, 2018 • Pastor Scott Kircher
How do we maintain a faith walk that keeps looking forward to the future? Joseph had a strong faith and his faith looked forward to the fulfillment of the promises of God even beyond his physical life. Let’s learn from Joseph so we can have a faith that looks forward and that helps us in the present.
Jacob - A Faith That Wrestles
June 10, 2018 • Pastor Scott Kircher
The author of Hebrews tells us that by faith Jacob blessed 2 of his grandchildren regarding their future. His walk in faith, however, was not always so faithful. This man through whom would come the 12 tribes of Israel, didn’t start off so good as he took control of his own life and wound up facing more heartache than he needed. He ended up finishing well after a wrestling encounter with God. Have you been walking your own way? Have you been wrestling with the Lord? No matter the path you have chosen, you too can end well as you persevere in seeking the Lord’s blessing, so you too can bless the future generations.
Abraham - A Faith That Worships
June 3, 2018 • Pastor Scott Kircher
Everyone loves a good worship experience. But what is it that worship is all about? Worship is really not about us, but it is all about God and is our response to who He is and what He has done. It requires a great and growing faith to truly worship the Lord. What can we learn from Abraham’s worship of the Lord through his offering of Isaac that can help us have a faith that worships the Lord?
