What If

You're Not Alone

March 6, 2022 • John Challinor

What does it look like for Jesus to be with you in the midst of the things that you’re going through? This week we have the wonderful reminder that we are never alone, no matter where it is we find ourselves. If you missed out this weekend, make sure to catch up on our last week of our series, What If, as we get practical about exploring how we can carry this truth into tomorrow.

Plan A?

February 27, 2022 • John Challinor • Matthew 16:13–20, John 16:7–15

What if you are plan A when Jesus says I will build my church? What if the church is not about an institution or a building, but a gathering for people for a special purpose? Check out this message and hear the challenge that pastor john has for us from the teachings of Jesus.

Grace For That?

February 20, 2022 • John Challinor • John 19:30, Matthew 27:50–54, John 8:24–36

When Jesus said, “it is finished!” Then bowed his head and gave up his spirit", a new course of life and identity was ignited. From that moment, a new purpose was created in each of us and the trajectory of eternity was forever changes. If you weren't able to join us this weekend, we invite you to explore with us how the sacrifice given translates to our own lives and how we can walk in the redemption that Jesus has given us.

Life For Others

February 13, 2022 • John Challinor • Luke 10:25–37, Matthew 16:24–26

This weekend we dove into the sixth week of our current series, What If. Pastor John took us on a journey through the story of the Good Samaritan and talked about what it looks like to die to ourselves and bring life to those around us. As you go throughout your week, we encourage you to to sit with these two questions 1. What areas of your life need to die to self? 2. How can you bring life to those around you?

Don't Miss the Point

February 6, 2022 • John Challinor

What if we are missing the point when it comes to spending eternity with Christ? Oftentimes we make eternity about a destination; a place of arrival. Instead, It’s about knowing Jesus and letting that relationship overflow into every area of your life. As we go into this next week and step into new areas and spaces, we pray that you’re empowered to experience and know the father in everything you do.

Seeing Outside

January 30, 2022 • Todd Jones • Luke 15:1–7, Luke 15:8–10

Too often we get so focused on what’s happening in our own lives that we miss what’s going on in the world around us. today we have the opportunity to slow down and catch the heart of Jesus for the lost. If you didn't have the chance to hang out with us this weekend, make sure to check out our conversation about being on mission, focusing on the world around us, and seeing the lost who need Jesus. We pray that you are motivated to take the teachings of Jesus and allow it to stir your heart toward action for Christ.

Gnats and Camels

January 23, 2022 • John Challinor • Matthew 23:23–24, Leviticus 11

“Justice, mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others.” – Matthew 23:23. What if Jesus really meant that the way you carry out matters like justice, mercy, and faith really are what’s most important? This weekend we stepped into our third week of What If, where (you might have gathered) we had a conversation on justice. As disciples of Jesus, He calls us to nurture both our personal holiness with Christ and also our heart for greater compassion and justice. TAKE A MOMENT TO ASK... 1* Where is God asking you to seek justice, mercy, and faithfulness in your own life? 2* Where have you been practicing your own personal holiness, but have overlooked practicing justice, mercy, and faith with the people God has called you to?

Flavor of Heaven

January 16, 2022 • John Challinor • Matthew 5

This weekend we heard a powerful message from Pastor John on being the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Jesus calls us to be a visible representation of Christ to the people in our life. As you step into the spaces that you encompass this week, how can you add the flavor and illumination of Jesus to those around you? Take a listen to our talk from this past weekend and join us in exploring what this means for us and how it shapes each of our lives.

Where God Is

January 9, 2022 • John Challinor • Matthew 4:23—5:12

This weekend we dove into week one of our collection of talks surrounding what-if questions. This week we started out by jumping into the sermon on the mount where we look at what it means when Jesus talks about blessings. To understand the word blessed is to understand the divine announcement that God is with you and God is on your side. Make sure to watch back to hear more about how you can look for where He is found and how you can move towards that.
