It is important for every partner of a growing local church to have realistic expectations about their relationship with their Pastors. Many people who come from a smaller church setting may expect to become personal and close friends with their Pastors and receive personal attention from them during a time of need. But as a church grows, that is not possible (See Acts 6), and it becomes important that mature believers understand this and see how team leadership works. Team is needed in order to look after the body effectively.

Love What God Loves
November 19, 2019 • Ruth Gallagher
To love something or someone is to really like them, really enjoy their company, to want to bless and honour someone with your best efforts and gifts. The goal of every believer should be to know God and to love Him. You can attend church and not really know God or truly love Him. Our heart is to keep Jesus in the centre, really loving Him above all!
What Is It About Church Anyway?

The local church is simply God’s instrument of change. There is no substitute for it and it is a very important core belief as a Christian. Jesus himself laid His life down for the church. The church is above all other forms of Christian organisations and the Bible tells us that God will use the church to accomplish His purpose.
