In Numbers 4:23 the Lord spoke to Moses about setting up a priesthood to minister before his presence. He described them as being all those who “enter in to perform the service…” The words “perform the service” are from Hebrew words which mean, literally, “fight the warfare.” “Perform” is the translation of the Hebrew word “tsaba,” which means ‘assemble, fight, perform, wait upon, war.’ The word ‘service ‘a mass of persons, organized for war, (specifically, hardship, worship): - appointed time’. The priests entered into the holy place to fight a warfare.

To love something or someone is to really like them, really enjoy their company, to want to bless and honour someone with your best efforts and gifts. The goal of every believer should be to know God and to love Him. You can attend church and not really know God or truly love Him. Our heart is to keep Jesus in the centre, really loving Him above all!

What Is It About Church Anyway?

The local church is simply God’s instrument of change. There is no substitute for it and it is a very important core belief as a Christian. Jesus himself laid His life down for the church. The church is above all other forms of Christian organisations and the Bible tells us that God will use the church to accomplish His purpose.
