they are most blessed.

THE WAY OF LIFE

(Psalm 16:11 NLT) You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.

MY ULTIMATE PURPOSE

(Ephesians 2:10) For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do

1. MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN MY WORLD.

(John 17:18 MSG) In the same way that you gave me a mission in the

world, I give them a mission in the world.

(Acts 20:24 NCV) I don’t care about my own life. The most important

thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me—to tell people the Good News about God’s grace.

(Mark 5:19 NCV) Go home to your family and friends. Tell them how much the Lord has done for you and how he has had mercy on you.

(Proverbs 3:27-28 MSG) Never walk away from someone who deserves help; your hand is God’s hand for that person. Never tell your neighbors to wait until tomorrow if you can help them now.

2. MAKE A DIFFERENCE BEYOND MY WORLD.

(1 Corinthians 9:22 TLB) Whatever a person is like, I try to find common ground with him so that he will let me tell him about Christ and let Christ save him.

(Galatians 6:2 MSG) Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ's law.

3. MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WHOLE WORLD.

(Mark 16:15 NCV) Jesus said to His followers, “Go everywhere in the

world, and tell the Good News to everyone.”

(Mark 10:29 LB) Jesus replied, “Let me assure you that no one has

ever given up anything... for love of Me and to tell others the Good

News, who won’t be given back, a hundred times over...”

(Acts 1:8) “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

LUKE 9:24

If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.

Luke 9:25

And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but are yourself lost or destroyed?

THE FAITH TO FORGIVE

Luke 17:1, 3-5 Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come… 3 So watch yourselves. “If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. 4 Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.” 5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” Matthew 5:43-44 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those whopersecute you. Eph 4:32 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Matt 6:14-15 14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. WHAT FORGIVENESS IS NOT · FORGIVENESS IS NOT FORGETTING. · FORGIVENESS IS NOT FAIR. Ps 103:10-12 - 10 He [God] does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. WHAT IS FORGIVENESS? · Forgiveness is giving others what God gave you! 1 John 1:9 - 9 If we confess our sins, he [God] is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. FORGIVENESS DOESN’T JUST FLOW TO US! FORGIVENESS FLOWS THROUGH US! GOD DOESN’T ASK YOU TO FORGIVE, TO HEAL THE OTHER PERSON. GOD ASKS YOU TO FORGIVE , TO HEAL YOU! · Faith enables me to see an opportunity for freedom where others only see an offense! Stop asking  How much forgiveness do they deserve? Start asking  How much freedom do you desire?

NEHEMIAH 1:1-11 NASB NEHEMIAH 1:1 The words of Nehemiah the son of Hacaliah. Now it happened in the month Chislev, in the twentieth year, while I was in Susa the capitol, VS. 2 2 that Hanani, one of my brothers, and some men from Judah came; and I asked them concerning the Jews who had escaped and had survived the captivity, and about Jerusalem. HE ASKED A QUESTION - HE OPENED UP HIS HEART AND CONCERN FOR SOMEONE OTHER THAN HIMSELF VS. 3 3 They said to me, “The remnant there in the province who survived the captivity are in great distress and reproach, and the wall of Jerusalem is broken down and its gates are burned with fire.” Vs. 4 4 When I heard these words, I sat down and wept and mourned for days; and I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven. HE HEARD & HE CARED GOD IS LOOKING FOR A HEART THAT HE CAN IMPREGNATE WITH A BURDEN Vs. 5 5 I said, “I beseech You, O Lord God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who preserves the covenant and lovingkindness for those who love Him and keep His commandments, VS. 6 6 let Your ear now be attentive and Your eyes open to hear the prayer of Your servant which I am praying before You now, day and night, on behalf of the sons of Israel Your servants, confessing the sins of the sons of Israel which we have sinned against You; I and my father’s house have sinned. BEFORE GOD CAN USE SOMEONE GREATLY, HE MUST FIRST BREAK THEM GREATLY VS. 7 7 We have acted very corruptly against You and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the ordinances which You commanded Your servant Moses. FREEDOM COMES WITH HONESTY BURDEN – IT’S WHEN THE HEART IS IMPREGNATED WITH THE CARES OF GOD. 2 CHRONICLES 7:14 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. VS. 8-9 8 Remember the word which You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful I will scatter you among the peoples; 9 but if you return to Me and keep My commandments and do them, though those of you who have been scattered were in the most remote part of the heavens, I will gather them from there and will bring them to the place where I have chosen to cause My name to dwell.’ Vs. 10-11 10 They are Your servants and Your people whom You redeemed by Your great power and by Your strong hand. 11 O Lord, I beseech You, may Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant and the prayer of Your servants who delight to revere Your name, and make Your servant successful today and grant him compassion before this man.”

Things Jesus Never Said

JESUS DID NOT SAY….. GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH WHATEVER MAKES PEOPLE HAPPY WHOEVER WANTS TO BE MY DISCIPLES MUST AFFIRM THEMSELVES, AVOID THE CROSS, AND FOLLOW THEIR OWN HEART. BE TRUE TO YOURSELF! JUST LIVE YOUR TRUTH FEEL GOOD ABOUT WHO YOU ARE, WHAT YOU DO, & YOU JUST DO YOU BOO BOO MATTHEW 18:1-14 18 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and said, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 And He called a child to Himself and set him before them, 3 and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. He never calls us adults of God he calls us children of God 4 Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. GREATNESS IS HUMILITY 5 And whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me; 6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea. 7 “Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to that man through whom the stumbling block comes! 8 “If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; it is better for you to enter life crippled or lame, than to have two hands or two feet and be cast into the eternal fire. 9 If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it from you. It is better for you to enter life with one eye, than to have two eyes and be cast into the fiery hell. 10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven. DESPISE - TO DEVALUE ANOTHER HUMAN BEING 12 “What do you think? If any man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go and search for the one that is straying? 13 If it turns out that he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray. 14 So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish.
