Nate looks to Exodus 16 to show us how much God loves us and wants to provide exactly what we need for our tomorrow. For God so loved us He provided His son, Jesus, for us. He is Jehovah Jireh; the Lord will provide.

Why are there two criminals seemingly ruining the moment of our Saviors sacrifice? It seems random. Out of place? Why not just Jesus there? Because we are that thief on the cross next to Jesus guilty of our sin… Jesus’ last moment before death was to show what the true Gospel is and how salvation works. There were two responses by two different thieves, we have the same choice in our own lives. To accept Jesus as Savior and we as sinner, or to deny and ridicule His name. We are that thief! The power of the cross is what makes this Friday Good!
