The Grace that comes before: Prevenient Grace

There is a grace that comes before. This is the love of God at work in our lives before we know we need it - before we recognize it or accept it. We call this prevenient grace, and it is God’s relentless pursuit of relationship with us.

The Grace that Transforms: Sanctifying Grace

There is a grace that changes and sustains us. This is the love of God at work in our hearts and minds to transform us from the inside out. This grace softens our rough edges, heals our wounds, and makes us more like Jesus in the way we live and love. We call this sanctifying grace, and it is God’s commitment to never give up on us.

The Grace that saves: Justifying Grace

There is a grace that saves us from sin and death. This is the love of God at work in and through the cross of Jesus Christ. This grace sets us free and gives us new life. We call this justifying grace, and it is God’s gift of abundant and eternal life.
