Fasting is repositioning your heart to God's heart. Today we talk about not only focusing on the positive benefits of fasting, but also realizing that we are being purged of things we no longer need to take us to a greater level in God. Throughout these three week's we pray that you have not only been strengthened, but that your eyes have been opened to what you cannot carry into your future. Lean into the conviction of the Holy Spirit, knowing that He is preparing you for the battle ahead.

Day 15

January 15, 2024 • Pastor Steve Bilsborough, Pastor Ellen Bilsborough • 2 Corinthians 5:6–7, Mark 11

In today's encouraging word, we are reminded that as believers we walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:6-7). We have direct access to the Father, and today He is asking His sons and daughters what we desire most. As you have spent the last two weeks drawing closer to God, challenge your faith this week to ask Him for great things, not things that are comfortable to ask for. Carry confidence today that he hears you, and he sees you even when you feel like nothing is happening!

As we begin the final week of our 21-Day Fast as a church, we want to remind you that we are in forward motion. Day 12

January 12, 2024 • Pastor Steve Bilsborough, Pastor Ellen Bilsborough

Fasting breaks open the Supernatural power of God, empowering you to live in the authority that has been given to you. Your clarity in the Word will fill you with TRUTH, and your separation from fleshly needs will strengthen your spirit. We pray and trust that as you have been setting yourself a part your time with God, your time of worship, and your encounters with His presence have been rich and life-changing. As you step into this day ahead of you, take time to truly worship today, and don't leave until you have touched heaven.

Day 11

January 11, 2024 • Pastor Ellen Bilsborough, Pastor Steve Bilsborough

Today we praise God because of His goodness and His graciousness toward us. Throughout this fast, our desire is to line up our lives with God's will for us, fully submitting to Him. We pray that as you fast your attention is off yourself and driven on getting to the heart of your King.

Day 10

January 10, 2024 • Pastor Ellen Bilsborough, Pastor Steve Bilsborough

We are almost at the halfway point of our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting. We know that no matter what we may be feeling in the natural, God is moving right now in our midst. It's important that in this time, you receive daily faith and strength from God's Word and not from any news outlet or opinion of man.

Day 9

January 9, 2024 • Pastor Steve Bilsborough, Pastor Ellen Bilsborough

We have been given life and life more abundant (John 10:10). Today's word lines up with Chapter 9 of Pastor Ellen's 21-day book, Set Apart. To know God is to be a student of His word. As you pray and fast, ask that God's word come to life and open your eyes and a way that it never has before. As you clear the connection between you and heaven, His Word will have a greater depth than ever before.

Day 8

January 8, 2024 • Pastor Steve Bilsborough, Pastor Ellen Bilsborough

As believers we understand that we are temples of the Holy Spirit. God has called us to a high level of stewardship over our body, soul, and mind so we may be effective for the Kingdom of Heaven. How are you stewarding (taking care of) your temple?

Day 7

January 7, 2024 • Pastor Steve Bilsborough, Pastor Ellen Bilsborough

We can carry this truth with confidence: Something always happens when we fast and pray! Isn't it encouraging to your faith today that something is happening behind the scenes? Sometimes we may believe that our fasting is only for a certain miracle or outcome. However, our purpose for fasting is always to get to the heart of the Father. As we turn away from everything else we are drawing closer to Him. This means that something is happening behind the scenes even right now, God is working while you are fasting! How can you focus on being more consistent in this week ahead?
