We can carry this truth with confidence: Something always happens when we fast and pray! Isn't it encouraging to your faith today that something is happening behind the scenes? Sometimes we may believe that our fasting is only for a certain miracle or outcome. However, our purpose for fasting is always to get to the heart of the Father. As we turn away from everything else we are drawing closer to Him. This means that something is happening behind the scenes even right now, God is working while you are fasting!

How can you focus on being more consistent in this week ahead?

Do you have faith that He will do what He said? Through this time of prayer and fasting, we have been stretched and challenged in the physical and in the supernatural. It is humbling to remember that He is shifting things around for our favor, as we walk in obedience to Him. Expectation is one of the characteristics of the body of Christ. God designed us to live with a bold faith and a tenacity that He will move again. Truthfully, God is working in our lives daily. Through the power of prayer and fasting, we have eyes to see it and a heart of gratitude to recognize this.
