Paul sets up the terms of salvation through the book of Romans. This week we dive into the hope this affords us as we confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that Jesus is Lord. God's power at work in us through the gift of the Holy Spirit enables us to abound in hope as we experience the joy and peace that was bought and paid for by Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:28

This week's Life Verse is Romans 8:28. Approaching God's Word with purpose and intentionality will open us up to receive all that God intends for us. Praying, reading the passage in context, studying key words, and writing it down will all help us grow in understanding. God is neither distant nor a benevolent dictator. He is very much always involved in our lives, working things for our good, as we delight in the things God delights in.

Deuteronomy 31:6
