This week's Life Verse is Deuteronomy 31:6. It is time to declare war on the enemy! God is building strength and courage in us so that we will not be afraid as we push back the forces of darkness. The One true, powerful Lord of everything is OUR God and He will always be with us.

God's power at work in us through the gift of the Holy Spirit enables us to abound in hope as we experience the joy and peace that was bought and paid for by Jesus Christ.

This week's Life Verse is Romans 8:28. Approaching God's Word with purpose and intentionality will open us up to receive all that God intends for us. Praying, reading the passage in context, studying key words, and writing it down will all help us grow in understanding. God is neither distant nor a benevolent dictator. He is very much always involved in our lives, working things for our good, as we delight in the things God delights in.
