We were left here to be witnesses for Jesus to the people God places in our lives. For a person to understand the Holy Spirit in you, they need to see it. You are the key to providing that experience for someone else. The Holy Spirit will guide you, so make sure that you are following Him!

What's your nickname? What do people say you are behind your back? The term Christian wasn't a compliment at the time it was created. But the first church wore that insult with pride. They were followers of Christ, and people were taking notice of whether they agreed with it or not. The term Christian doesn't have the same effect as it did then. Jesus Freak might be as close as we will ever get. Be sure your love for Jesus causes those around you to take note and maybe even give you a nickname for it.
Spirit-Filled Church - Radical Togetherness

The first church in the book of Acts was radical in every way, and that is the standard that we should live up to as the church of today; radically giving, worshiping, and growing! We should be devoted to teaching disciples and completely unselfish. We should accomplish all of this while focusing on Jesus!
Spirit-Filled Preaching - The Ghost Poured Out

When the spirit was poured out, there were lots of questions: What's Happening? How is this happening? Why is this happening? God cares about ALL people, and he wants them to be saved. To get saved, they need the Gospel, and people who have the Holy Spirit can share that Gospel.

Fifty days after Jesus' resurrection, He sent us our Helper, The Holy Spirit. The day was Pentecost. That event ignited a movement that spread the message of the Gospel all over the world in many languages. You can have the same spirit. Allow God to give you your own Pentecost!
Opportunities in "The Waiting"

in "The Waiting," we need to use opportunities to grow in our faith and share our faith with others. We still need our church and it's leadership. We must be obedient to God and His Word. But even in our walk with Jesus, we need to use common sense. Call it "sanctified common sense." Seek God's will in your life, and use common sense.
