We see in Acts today that the Seven were appointed by the apostles to help fill a need. When people jump in and fill needs in the church, salvation multiplies. What part of the load are you helping with?

When the ship hits the rock, how will we respond? Paul was filled with peace, though everything around him was falling apart. His character and walk with the Lord allowed him to not only be at peace in the storm, but to encourage those who are in it as well.

Paul was in chains but still considered himself "fortunate". Paul's outlook and response to trials is a great example for us. Sometimes in life you will find yourself in chains, but can you say that you trust in Him with your whole heart no matter what?
