Amos 1 describes God’s judgment on the six neighbors of God’s people, Israel, in the 8th century B.C. By looking at this chapter and noting its intentional repetition and rebuke, we derive three things we can know about God and how they apply to us:
1. God is powerful.
2. God is patient.
3. God is just.
